Our 2010 Theme: Connecticut Arts
Each year we have a different theme and a new design for you!
This year’s theme showcases Connecticut’s Arts! It's all about the creative,
the intriguing, and the amazing people, places, and organizations that
bring arts alive across Connecticut..

DID YOU KNOW?

  • The oldest public art museum in the United States is located in Connecticut??
  • Alexander Calder, the inventor of the mobile, made the first of his many famous Stabiles in Connecticut? (Now, what's a stabile?)
  • One of America’s most famous actresses, Katherine Hepburn, was born and died in Connecticut?
  • The play, “Death of a Salesman” was written in Connecticut?
  • America’s most famous southern author and humorist lived and died in Connecticut?

Take a look at the picture of the maze and see if you can figure a way out! How about a way in? Can you see the shape of Connecticut anywhere? How about a musical staff? Notice a pair of dancers? Worried you might get lost? Don't worry; we have never found anybody who was lost! The maze may look pretty confusing, but people love it--and you can learn a lot too.

Merrow Maze is Full of Fun. It's awesome for kids, interesting for adults, and worthwhile for everybody! Great for groups, fun for families, and a pretty sweet place to take a date, too! Come visit and enjoy our educational corn maze in Storrs. Learn something new (or old!), get some fresh air, and most important, enjoy Connecticut!
