Merrow Maze is both educational and fun for adults and children. And we offer discounts for groups of 15 or more. Our field manager, our maze designer, our researcher, and our greeters work very hard to make visiting Merrow Maze worthwhile and enjoyable. That makes it an ideal place for:

school field trips

work celebrations or get-togethers

birthday parties

family gatherings

neighborhood outings

church group adventures

scouting excursions

group training and team building activities

The maze is big (about 4 acres with some 2 miles of paths—and as tall as 12 feet in some places!) so a lot of visitors can enjoy the maze at the same time.

Merrow Maze can accommodate you and your group during regular hours with or without special arrangement. But we encourage you to call and let us know if you’re planning a visit with a group. We’ll welcome you no matter what, but we may be able to make your group feel more welcome by providing you with a table or with a campfire, for example.

If you'd like to reserve a time at the maze when we're not open to the public, it’s easy. Just call ahead and we will arrange it with you. Our number is 860-805-FARM.

In addition, Merrow Maze is very convenient to two restaurants; Chuck’s and Margaritas is a 1 or two minute car ride away; Willington Pizza is just a bit north on Route 32. So you can get something to eat and drink before or after a fun time at Merrow Maze. And if you want, you could start your own restaurant right across from our entrance, where there’s an opportunity waiting for you.

Team-Building Activities or Just Great Neighborhood or Birthday Fun
The maze works something like a scavenger hunt and with some planning, you can customize the maze by having your own questions or activities at stations in the maze. No matter what you do, it's a great experience!
